Does it cost the school anything to get involved in Healthy Schools?

No it doesnt cost anything to work on Healthy Schools

Is there any funding available to work on Healthy Schools?

Not as a rule but any funding opportunities available will be advertised on the website or in the newsletter

How long does National Healthy Schools Status last?

National status lasts for 3 years and the Kirklees Gold Status expires at the same time.

What is the difference between National Healthy Schools Status(NHSS) and Kirklees Healthy Schools Standard Gold (KHSSG)?

There are two Healthy Schools levels in Kirklees.NHSS can be done on its own and then topped up to KHSSG. or alternatively schools can work towards both at the same time.For more information click on Kirklees Healthy Schools Process or contact the team

How long does the process take?

There is no minimum or maximum amount of time, schools can work at their own pace.
