In Kirklees there are two levels of healthy school status, firstly the National Healthy School Status (NHSS) and secondly the Kirklees Healthy School Standard Gold (KHSSG). In order for schools to be assessed for KHSSG it is prerequisite that they have achieved NHSS, although schools may choose to work towards both at the same time.
