It is important that schools have effective structures in place to recognise and reward good behaviour as well as identify and deal with inappropriate behaviour.
These systems should be clear to all members of the school community and consistently applied across the school. Members of the school community should be consulted about expected behaviour as well as the rewards and sanctions process.
