Get Britain Breastfeeding Exhibition

During the months of May and June 2010 the Get Britian Breastfeeding event was hosted in various educational settings to challenge the myths and barriers to breastfeeding.

The national exhibition was first displayed at Huddersfield New College before going on to other venues in Kirklees.

The stand was manned by NHS Kirklees to encourage young people to consider breast feeding as an option when they become parents.

The students were very receptive and the exhibition generated a lot of positive interest & discussion.
