Relationships and sexual health education
Both the Kirklees primary PSHCE education toolkit and the secondary integrated toolkit include comprehensive support for this area of the curriculum.
The local authority can also provide guidance on RSHE in an Islamic context.
New resources linking sexual risk taking and alcohol are in development and will be free to secondary schools in the Autumn term 2009.
Kirklees Young People Friendly - KYPF
This website is for young people in Kirklees to find out about sexual health services, including how and where to access confidential sexual health services, and how to keep up to date with new developments in contraception available to young people. The KYPF scheme aims to work with sexual health services across Kirklees to make sure they are accessible and welcoming to all young people.
